About Our Leadership
Ms. Yen Loan Clarke, a Vietnamese-American, came to the U.S. with her father (U.S. Army, retired) after his tour in Vietnam to settle in Northern Virginia. Growing up in an inter-racial family in Northern Virginia provided Mrs. Clarke with a unique perspective on integrated cultures, overcoming prejudices, biases, and stereotypes. Her parents instilled the spirit of determination, discipline, perseverance, community, and good old fashion hard work with unwavering honesty and integrity. This commitment to “the how matters” inspired the company’s name of Applied Integrity.
Ms. Clarke has supported the Federal Government for over 20 years in various capacities, primarily focused on business and technology services in Enterprise environments. She began her career as a Federal employee of the District of Columbia, where Ms. Clarke drove and implemented automation of AR/AP for the Department of Administrative Services, a central service component for the CFO and all Operations Departments. Ms. Clarke soon transitioned to Federal consulting work supporting Joint Department of Defense and Intelligence Community (IC) programs in software implementation and integration, business process engineering, systems engineering, and project/program management. Her experience includes working for small businesses growing successfully and being acquired by large businesses where she supported transformation and change management activities. At Fortune 100 company, Microsoft, Ms. Clarke led and managed Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and Premier Services programs in the U.S. Public Sector (the IC, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Energy).
Ms. Clarke holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Mathematics and English) and a Master’s of Science Degree in Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and she obtained her Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University. She currently resides in Northern VA with her family.
